Fred Grange has lived in Marin County since his childhood. From a young age Fred was taking on jobs such as hauling, tree cutting and demolition and became inspired to start his own company entailing the same services. In 1962, his dream became a reality when he founded Grange Debris Box. His company was one of the first debris hauling companies in the world. Along with this achievement, Fred also invented some equipment we still use today such as portable fuel storage tanks, portable job sheds and so much more. At one point, Grange Debris box was the 8th largest demolition companies in the nation, completing over 1,000 jobs a year. Some of the most notable jobs this company has been a part of were the International Hotel in San Francisco and Bob's Boat Yard.
